Steam Indie XP is a free weekly analysis of the Steam indie market. This page explains the little data it collects.

The mailing list

If you subscribe, your email address is stored by Buttondown, the service that sends the newsletter. It is used only to send you Steam Indie XP, once a week. It is never sold or shared. Subscribing needs a confirmation click, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe link, which removes you from future sends.

Site analytics

The site counts visits with a self-hosted copy of Matomo, set up without cookies. It records which pages are read and which links are followed, so we can tell what readers find useful. No data goes to advertising or analytics companies.
